Terracotta Warrior Goes to Hong Kong

terracotta warrior prays to God, ‘I want to become human.’ God replies, ‘You can be a
human but just for a month.’
The terracotta warrior visits Hong Kong. It is January. He does a lot of things. He goes
shopping, plays football and meets a friend Alex. They go to Ocean Park and play computer games. After
that, they go hiking. They also have a meal at McDonald together. The terracotta warrior and Alex have
a lot of fun together. But time flies!
It is the end of January. The terracotta warrior knows he is about to turn back into a terracotta
warrior. He tells Alex, ‘I am not human, but a terracotta warrior. I prayed to God that I could be human.
So he let me be a human for a month. Now my time is over. I must turn back into a terracotta warrior
very soon!’
Alex wants his friend to stay with him. So he prays to God, ‘Please let my friend stay as a human.
He is a good person.’
God listens again. The terracotta warrior can stay a human for his whole life. He calls himself Terrence.
He continues being friends with Alex and lives a happy human life thereafter.
Like Alex, we must treasure our friends because we never know how much time we have together.
